3D Secure Authentication (3DS)

We support 3D Secure (3DS), an industry-standard authentication layer developed by major card networks (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, American Express). When enabled by your issuing bank, 3DS adds a real-time identity verification step during checkout. This may involve:
  • Entering a one-time password (OTP) sent by your bank
  • Approving the transaction through your banking app
  • Using biometric verification (Face ID, fingerprint, etc.)
This protocol protects cardholders from unauthorized use and minimizes liability for both customers and merchants. If 3DS authentication fails or is declined, your transaction may not be completed.

Internal Fraud Screening

In addition to 3DS, we employ an internal risk assessment system to screen for high-risk patterns and potential misuse. An order may be held for manual review if it triggers any of the following conditions:
  • Inconsistencies between billing and shipping addresses
  • High-value or high-volume orders placed outside usual geographic zones
  • Use of masked, disposable, or unverifiable email addresses
  • Multiple failed payment attempts in a short timeframe
If your order is flagged, our support team may reach out for additional confirmation—such as identity verification or proof of address. Orders placed under review will not ship until verification is complete. This process is not punitive. It exists to protect the integrity of our ecosystem and ensure that legitimate customers receive their products without interference or fraud-related disruption.

Data Encryption & PCI Compliance

All payment information is transmitted securely using encrypted protocols and processed via third-party PCI DSS–compliant gateways. Nootropics Frontline does not store, process, or retain full credit card numbers or security codes on our servers at any time. Your data is tokenized and handled exclusively by our payment partners, who specialize in secure transaction management and regulatory compliance.
